Nanomaterials for printing and additive manufacturing

Two-dimensional printing of materials and three-dimensional printing or additive manufacturing can be seen as converters of digital information into matter. Depending on the method (e.g., ink-jet printing or laser printing), different inks or photo-sensitive resins are required. Typically, these inks/resins contain different tailored molecular or nano-particulate constituents. This field of focus deals with the design and realization of such inks/resins and their applications in electronics, photonics, mechanics, and the life sciences.
