KIT Graduate School of Quantum Matter

The new graduate school for "Quantum Matter" (2021-2026) addresses PhD students at KIT in the field of quantum sciences. Its foundation in August 2021 was made possible by the successful acquisition of funds from the University of Excellence. It is affiliated with the KIT Materials Center  and strengthens the visibility of research on quantum materials there. The graduate school offers PhD students a structured training program and networking activities to qualify them, among other things, for the development of future quantum technology. In addition to the outstanding research at KIT in this field, this will further advance the quality of education and strengthen the attractiveness of the KIT location for young scientists.
